Palmyra, an ode to Syria! 23 years ago we traveled through Syria. The beauty of the country struck us. The friendly people, the beautiful nature, and the fantastic cities, including Palmyra.

From a young man in the shopping street, we bought a large bag full of dried hibiscus flowers with seeds. Beautiful trees have grown from these seeds, both with us and with others, that still bloom.

When I thought that the soap would be colored with hibiscus, all the memories of the trip came flooding back. I decided to make this soap as an ode to a country I love.

Besides a memory, the Palmyre also contains oils and butters that make the soap soft and nourishing. Mango butter is skin-purifying, moisturizing, and soothing. Additionally, mango butter combats skin aging due to its antioxidants.

It is an extra superfat soap, beneficial for the skin.

The Palmyre soap has an enchanting oriental fragrance due to the mix of patchouli, bitter almond, rosewood, and geranium.
