The American brand O'Keeffe's is part of The Gorilla Glue Company and offers various skin care products that, in addition to intensive care for normal skin, are also guaranteed to work well for very dry and cracked (problem) skin. The products are non-greasy, unscented and hypoallergenic.
The origin of these products lies in the California-Oregon border region, known as the Klamath Basin. Bill O'Keeffe worked as a rancher and had many problems with his hands and feet due to diabetes and hard work. Pharmacist daughter Tara was eager to develop a product that would relieve his painful, chronically dry and cracked skin. Together they competed by creating and testing all kinds of formulas in her kitchen. This is how the basic formula came about for the current O'Keeffe's Working Hands and O'Keeffe's Working Feet.
