Patchouli is an essential oil, derived from the leaves of the patchouli shrub. Patchouli, who doesn't know it ;-) The flower power period made this fragrance immensely popular in the 60s and 70s!

Organic Patchouli Essential Oil Uses and Uses
Vaporizing: The scent is a combination of woody/spicy and sweet. It is widely used because it is associated with a sense of contentment and security. And of course for the right generation the flower power evokes memories ;-)
Care: Add to base oil, for a wonderful skin care or massage.
Use in the kitchen: this organic patchouli oil is food grade, but due to a very characteristic and intense aroma, it is very rarely used in the kitchen.

Directions for use of essential oils in general:

Essential oils are highly concentrated natural substances. Be careful when using them, you should never use them pure on the skin, with the exception of a few essential oils on the advice of an aromatherapist. Always use essential oil diluted, a maximum of 5 drops to 10 ml of carrier oil.

Using a few drops in your bath water, in a diffuser in your room or in oil to create massage oil is perfect.

Keep essential oils away from children. If you are pregnant or if you have high blood pressure, heart problems or other medical conditions, get advice before use. Even if you have very sensitive skin, it is better to ask for advice or do a test on a small part of your skin.

Patchouli is often used to relieve pain, for example in an oil bath, as friction, ointment or compresses, also for example in case of fungal infections. There are no scientific studies that demonstrate this effect.

Patchouli is also used in care products because of its anti-inflammatory effect, the oil is then applied to irritated, blemished and painful skin.
